Marketing games and contests

Get people playing to attract, engage and take part

A marketing game isn't only there to entertain. It can drive traffic, extend a campaign, liven up a community or turn waiting time into a brand experience.

At a trade show, online or by QR code, the formats vary widely: instant-win games, interactive kiosks, object hunts, leaderboard contests or prize draws.

And behind the experience we can build all the machinery it needs: entry form, consents, rules, scoring, leaderboard or picking the winners.

Some projects we delivered

QR-code game · RATP

Sustainable mobility quiz

Raising awareness of sustainable mobility during the ride

Brief

RATP Cap wanted to use European Mobility Week to show passengers the environmental benefits of the bus over the car.

The game had to be simple, reachable straight from the posters inside the buses, and rolled out across several territories with a common base and some content adapted to each network.

Solution

We designed a mobile quiz reached by QR code, made of several mini-games about sustainable mobility.

The path alternates questions and learning content on CO₂ emissions, how buses have evolved, bioNGV and the local network's specifics.

At the end, passengers can enter a prize draw through a form with rules and consent management.

Trade-show kiosk game · Pépite

An arcade kiosk in Pépite Ozer's colours

Drawing visitors in, getting them playing and extending the experience on a stand

Brief

Pépite Ozer wanted a touch-screen kiosk that would draw visitors to its events and offer several game experiences in a playful, instantly recognisable world.

The interface also had to stay flexible enough to take new games later on.

Solution

We designed it as a real arcade cabinet: welcome screen, game selection, transitions, game interface and the way back to the welcome screen, all dressed in Pépite Ozer's colours.

Visitors are encouraged to play game after game thanks to simple navigation and a « token » logic, and the client can publish its own games on the kiosk afterwards.

Large online contest · CEVA Logistics x Ferrari

Logistics Mastermind

Challenging a community with a premium experience

Brief

CEVA Logistics wanted to engage its community around its partnership with Ferrari through a large online contest, immersive and demanding enough to be a real challenge.

The experience had to showcase the world of logistics, rank the participants and reach an international audience.

Solution

We designed Logistics Mastermind, an escape-game-inspired experience in which players join a CEVA Control Room and must make the right calls to get a Ferrari part to the Grand Prix.

The game mixes data analysis, logistics choices, handling the unexpected and scoring. Translated into 5 languages, it brought together hundreds of participants, with a final podium and prizes for the best players.

Games as a marketing lever

A game can be simple or fully scripted, last a few seconds or several weeks, be played alone or by thousands of participants.

What matters is fitting the mechanic to the goal: attract, engage, collect, introduce, build loyalty or reward.

Got a campaign, an event or an audience to activate? Let's imagine the game that makes people want to take part.

Hybrid physical and digital

The digital side supports a physical set-up, also made to measure: a board, cards, objects or a set. A real game companion, it guides players, adds clues, audio and video, and links the stages together.

Delivered projects

A board game on careers in the fishing industry for LOFP, hands-on business tools for Dassault Systèmes or a seminar around Sodexo's business units: hybrid formats open up a wide range of possibilities.
