Game mechanicsContent: the screen that sets the scene
A screen to explain, show or tell between two games. A title, some text, a piece of media, and players move on when they are ready.
Describe your game: the assistant builds it, you fine-tune it.
How it works
A Content screen asks for no answer. It shows a title, formatted text and, if you want, an image, a video, a sound clip, a slideshow, an annotated image or a PDF.
Before a game, it gives players what they need to succeed. After one, it goes deeper into the answer. Switching between input and practice keeps attention up and helps people remember what they just saw.
For the player
- 1The player lands on the screen: the text sits next to the media, or on top of the image, depending on the layout.
- 2They read, watch the video, listen to the audio or flip through the slideshow. On an annotated image, they tap each point to read its note.
- 3They move on with the Next button. If a timer is set, that button can wait until part of the time has passed.
What you set
- A title and formatted text. The title can stay hidden if it's only there to help you find your way.
- A piece of media: image, video, audio, slideshow, image with info points, or PDF.
- The layout: media next to the text or as a full-screen background.
- Navigation: Previous and Next buttons, and the step that comes next.
- A timer and hints, when the screen calls for them.

Frequently asked questions
Can I add a video to a training game?
Yes. Add a Content screen and pick Video as the media. You can also use an image, audio, a slideshow or a PDF.
How is it different from a game step?
A Content screen asks for no answer and gives no points. It delivers the information that the games then check.
Can the AI create these screens?
Yes. Describe your game to the AI assistant: it builds the content screens along with the games, and you fine-tune them in the editor.
